Which of these QBs has a better chance of leading their team to a Super Bowl victory?
Nov 10, 2012
Much comes with being a champion in the NFL, or any sport, really. But certain positions and objectives get placed pretty high on the “to do list” for athletes. For football, of course, as expected, it’s the Super Bowl, and as a quarterback, you want to be the man leading your team down the field to win the game. We all know the great names associated with being Super Bowl winning QBs, Tom Brady, ...  read more

The return of the Dirty Birds. Saints stumble in. Let's do it ~ Sean

1. ATLANTA FALCONS - Time for the Falcons to take advantage of the Saints turmoil. Disclaimer alert. I like Matt Ryan a lot. He has a pair of great WRs in Roddy White and Julio Jones. He has the big veteran TE in Tony Gonzalez. He has a solid RB behind him in Michael Turner. They are nearly unbeatable at home, but for them ...  read more

1. SAN FRANCISCO 49ers - After going 13-3, the Niners can only really go down. I mean that record wise, not production wise. Harbaugh has Alex Smith doing what needs to be done. And that is ball-control and not lose games. San Fran has some nice weapons on offense. TE Vernon ...  read more

The calender says August, and that means NFL Pre-Season action!.... But let's focus on the upcoming season. Here are my thoughts on the NFC East.

1. NY GIANTS - This pains me to write as a lifelong Cowboys fan. But lets be honest. This team wins when it has too. They went 9-7 last year, but went on a run to win the Super Bowl for the 2nd time in 4 years! I have always liked Eli. I thought h ...  read more

Sean's All-Star Game Selection
Jul 10, 2012
Hope everyone made a couple couples with my Prince Fielder HR Derby Selection $$$

For Tuesday nights All-Star Game I will be going UNDER the total of 8.5. A lot of pretty decent pitchers on both squads. Even with inter-league, hitters aren't that familiar with these front-end stud arms.

My side selection will be on the AMERICAN LEAGUE. As I said above, I think both teams possess very ...  read more

Sean Higgs' MLB HR Derby Props
Jul 9, 2012
I have to admit, I am not a fan of the MLB All-Star Game or HR Derby.

I remember watching the 'old-school' HR Derby on ESPN during the summer back in the late 80s and early 90s..

Then, you would have the 'STARS' going 1 on 1 with each for 9 innings. Back then, the "STARS" needed that extra grand.

Enough of my nostalgia...

Sean's 7 thoughts on last week's College Football

Week #2 of the College Football season has come to a close...

Here are some things that have stood out to me.
