Uh. The PAC-Nasty. This conference has just gotten worse and worse. I am all for these kids making a living the pros, but I think the 1 and done is terrible and has hurt this conference a lot.
The Favorites - In Big 12 country you have to start with the Jayhawks. Kansas is the #1 seed. Missouri #2, Iowa State #3 and Baylor #4 round out the top 4 seeds. Kanas and Missouri have first round byes.
To me, it looks as though Missouri has an easier r ... read more

I have always liked this conference. Last few years it has been getting a bit more popular. Let's get to it.

It is still February, but March Madness has officially arrived as we start some conference tournaments.
First up is the Big South -
NC Asheville would have to be considered the favorite after a 16-2 conference run. Losses to Coastal Carolina (2) and Charleston Southern (T3) in conference.
Coastal Carolina did lose 5 of the last 7 down the stretch.
Week #2 of the College Football season has come to a close...
Here are some things that have stood out to me.
1 - ALABAMA's defense is the real deal. They might have a young QB situation, but this defense is no joke and as long as they don't lose their RB, they should be on their way to an undefeated season.
2 - AUBURN, take about the new Kardiac Kidz! They might not be able ... read more
NFL kicks off tomorrow night with the Saints and Packers. Let us look at the AFC first, and tomorrow we will look over the NFC.
AFC EAST
1. NE PATRIOTS - This team was 14-2 last year. Brady and HC Hoodie aren't getting any younger. But the defense is! Granted, the did bring in some older guys in Haynesworth and Ellis. Pats have all the parts and the coaching to get them to February. ... read more
Get ready to say goodbye this conference, as in all likely-hood this is the final season of Big 12 action. Texas A&M will be heading to the SEC and it looks like Oklahoma, Ok State and Texas are heading to the Pac 12. The remaining teams are rumored to possibly be heading to the Big East. Big East Basketball will be a 20 team monster.
Hands down, this is THE toughest conference in College Football. There is little fluff and not many easy stops when you are in SEC Country.
Let's take a look at who are the teams to beat!

Right off the bat I will tell you I am no scout. I am a handicapper. I look at the picks as who they are and the teams biggest needs.
1. CAROLINA ~ Cam Newton QB ~ Huge gamble for me. Lots of off the field issues. New HC Ron Rivera will either be the hero or goat for this selection. I think 3 years from now, they are right back here in the Top 5 drafting.
In 2010, I had a decent CBB season hitting 54% of my plays and turning a +1455 profit.
Since the start of January 1st, 2011, my CBB record here stands at 114-138-4.
As I look closer at my numbers this CBB season, I see that since the start of 2011, I have lost an incredible amout of close games. In fact, 42 of those losses have been by a half point to 4 points. Now, my numbers are off of ... read more

Sitting here watching Oregon and UCLA. Looking at this Ducks uniform, it brings me back to opening night and Boise visiting Va Tech. The Broncos rolled in with their 'Untamed, Unapologetic' uni's. They were facing off vs the Hokies 'Black to the Future'. Now, we know in sports it is all about marketing and sales and revenue. A few other teams will be showcasing some new gear this season.
Well, here we are in October. NFL and College Football are in full stride. Who are the contenders and pretenders in the NFL? Are the Chiefs for real? Are the Vikes ready to make noise with Moss? How bad are things in Arizona? What about College? Will Boise or TCU crack the Top 2 spots. Is Oregon that good? How far has Souther Cal actually fallen? Are you sharp enough to find the weak lines?

San Francisco 49ers – I am calling for the Niners to make major strides and win the West. This franchise hasn’t had a winning season since 2002. Steady RB Frank Gore should make things easy on QB Alex Smith who must become the franchise player the t ... read more
New Orleans Saints – Take the Super Bowl Champs here to repeat as NFC South Champions. Can’t get any better than last year’s run. Indianapolis Colts - Another year another 13-3 season on tap. We all know what we are getting from this team. Colts will win a lot and go as far as their defense can take them. Peyton and his offense will be as prolific as ever and Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis will be abusing opposing QBs.

Baltimore Ravens- I am calling for a step back from the Ravens 13 win season last year to a more modest 11-5 affair this year. Joe Flacco is entering year 3 and off a season where he tossed for 3600 hundred yards.
